The Art Loeb Trail ( Part 2 )
Finishing the Art Loeb Trail from Black Balsam Knob to Davidson River Campground. First, I will hike the section 2 (7.2 miles) in reverse starting at Black Balsam Knob through a spruce-fur forest, connecting onto Mountain-to-Sea Trail, over Silvermine Bald, cross the Blue Ridge Parkway, Shuck Ridge, Farlow Gap, Deep Gap, the summit of Pilot Mountain, to Gloucester Gap. Section 1 is 12.3 miles up Cedar Rock Mountain through Cat Gap, Shut-in Ridge along French Broad River down to Davidson River Campground. This is a three day trip. I'll be camping on Black Balsam Knob the first night.

The Natural Bridge in Virginia
Walk through the Natural Bridge archway to the Monacan Indian Village and Lace Falls, along the beautiful and serene Cedar Creek Trail. Descend 34 stories into the Natural Bridge Caverns and wonder at the deepest caverns on America's East Coast. 

Luray Caverns near Virginia's Shenandoah Valley
One-hour tour along well-lighted, paved walkways leading through cathedral-sized rooms with ceilings 10 stories high. Enormous chambers are filled with towering stone columns, shimmering draperies and crystal-clear pools.

Rafting/Kayaking New River
Group outing trip rafting/kayaking down New River and camping at New River State Park. Setting up shuttle service. 

Fly-Fishing Hazel Creek in Great Smokey Mountain National Park 
This remote stream and its tributaries provides some great fly-fishing opportunities for Rainbow, Brown, and Brook trout. You will have to hike a long way in or cross the Fontana Lake. Once you cross Fontana Lake, the stream provides excellent access and a number of campsites.

Deep Gap Trail in Pisgah National Forest
This hike will be a 4.5 mile out-and-back ridge trail over four 6000ft + peaks with spur trail to two other 6000ft+ peaks. Over night camping at the Deep Gap Shelter.

Kayak/Camping Trip @ Congaree National Park, SC.
Paddlers experience this unique old-growth bottomland forest while paddling through large bald cypress and water tupelo trees draped with Spanish Moss. You will be surrounded with the sounds of songbirds, owls, and woodpeckers as you paddle through Congaree's Wilderness. White-tailed deer, otters, and raccoons may also be spotted along the banks of Cedar Creek.

Foothills-Fork Mountain-Chattooga Loop Trail, Sumter National  Forest, SC
At an average 10 degree cooler than the lowlands, this 18.5 mile loop trails through Appalachian foothills. The terrain includes wading into pools below a 70 ft King Creek Falls, ascending above 3000 ft on the Foothills Trail to forest vistas finding solitude on the Fork Mountain portion through the 9012 acres Ellicott Rock Wilderness. Camping at Burrell's Ford making this trip an overnight weekender.
